We had a lovely time during our visit at Barleylands! Definitely buy your tickets online as they are just a bit cheaper. No waiting times for us on easter Sunday. Feeding the animals was such a fun experience!

I visited Barleylands yesterday with my 4 year old daughter. We really did have the best afternoon, the staff were so kind, welcoming, passionate and knowledgeable about their animals and all seem to genuinely care about their work and the visitors. I highly recommend visiting here x

Great place to bring a young family with a farm area -at a charge- and a number of little shops. We went to peacocks pottery barn to paint pots. Great afternoon and very pleased a week later with the results.

Visited with two of my children during School half term. Saw the bottle feeding of the lambs which was very busy at the 1pm session so we decided to go back at 3:30pm, which was much quieter. There are a variety of animals here including cows (highland and friesian), pigs, goats, sheep, wallabies, chickens plus a reptile house with snakes, spiders and a range of birds / owls. They also offer tractor rides and there is an air pillow in the play area for kids to bounce on and ride on tractors. There is a Tiptree cafe on site or you can leave and re-enter to visit the other Tiptree tea room/cafe amongst the Barleylands units.

We went to the enlightened light trail this evening which was another great event! Barleylands do events really well! The trail is a good length with children and spaced out nicely. There’s a great mix of visually pleasing displays and interactive ones. A few food and drink vans, we had a mulled wine which was very nice! The children loved the giant lasers they could control! If you want to you can still feed the goats and the animal barn is open. The softplay is also available! A great winter event!

Went with the school kids and had a fantastic day! The staff were amazing with the kids, and we all had a great day. Went on a tractor ride, met some animals, fed them, and more! Definitely recommend 😊

It’s great to live so close to barleylands, there is so much to do here for all of the family. And there is always something going on! Most recently the Halloween event which was a great evening for the kids. Trick or treating through the craft village and the fun fair was amazing!

Absolutely loved it. Little one had so much fun. The foam party was brilliant. There is so much to do. Tractor ride driver was so friendly and kind. We enjoyed the ride too. Ample parking. We love feeding and petting the animals. Staff was friendly. Definitely recommend it.

It's one of my favourite days out with the kids. There's so much to do for children of different ages and abilities. Lots of animals to learn about and also facilities to wash your hands after. Friendly staff. Soft play area is really good as well as play areas outside and to top it all off free parking. It can be a bit pricey if it's a few of you, but it's still worth it as the kids will love it.
