Very cool place especially at sun set

Brilliant archery club lovely people and excellent Coaches.

I’d just like to say a very big thank you to all the people at Mayflower archers . I’ve been with the club for 3 months now , a novice archer , not knowing anything at all to start with, I cannot stress enough, just how much time and energy all the coaches put into making you feel welcome, and not just the coaches, many of the members also are very helpful and absolutely everyone is so friendly, Having been into match fishing for ages, looking for something to take its place was a big decision, I contacted Dave scorer on a Friday night ( just randomly) on the Saturday morning I was at the club meeting people and asking questions, thanks to Dave’s rapid response, I met matt prior that day , a very good coach , he’s always giving up he’s time to help others, as do dave and all the coaches.... matt and everyone else has encouraged me to a point where I simply cannot leave the sport alone, it’s absolutely amazing how this grabs you. That said, a lot of people just shoot to socialise and have fun too , I cannot believe how lucky I was to have found this club, and make so many new friends. If you are looking to try this sport , or as an archer looking for a friendly club , this is it .A very special thank you to matt prior and Dave scorer . Without these guys help and encouragement, I wouldn’t be where I am in such a short time ( THANKS GUYS)

No phone number, no website, enquired about joining and was rather curtly advised I couldn't join for 6 months. No thanks for enquiry or come along and try it out, just no for 6 months. Not the kind of club I am looking for.

Family friendly club which caters for all levels, great beginners course and follow up support, Excellent Junior group as well.

Great Archery Club. Members are very friendly and helpful. Families are welcome and coaching advice is of a high standard. Archery is a great sport & even in a wheelchair I'm able and welcome to shoot. Top club!
